Okay, so maybe it's not. A chore is something that an indisputable authority figure will assign to you, without any expectation on your part of remuneration for your efforts. In this case, the only difference is that no one is assigning the workload, it's more of a self-imposed stress creation mechanism. I like to call it SISCREMECH for short. I base this on the UN's conventions for creating acronyms that aren't acronyms. These I like to call noncronyms. By the way, noncronym is an example of a neonym, which is a word that just got made up. I am not making this up. Okay, maybe I am. Did you check my new FAQ yet? Shame on you. I'm still waiting for a real question from a real reader, so there is really only an AQ, which was made up anyway. No, it's not a noncronym. It also has nothing whatsoever to do with networking or technical stuff at all. I hope you enjoy it. If you feel like submitting a question, any question at all, on any topic, I will do my best to answer it. If I don't know the answer, I'll make one up. If I do know the answer, I'll decide whether to provide a real answer, or to make one up and see if anyone notices the difference. Go on...try it! Send me a question! I'll wait..... Okay, so waiting isn't my strong point. In the meantime, let's talk about something else, shall we? Yes...indeed we shall. We shall talk about Gap-Toothed Ocelots. 'What is an Ocelot?' you ask...well...it's much like an Ocelittle, only bigger. HA! I love that one. Been telling it for years, in the hopes that someday someone will tell it back to me, and I can beat them to the punchline, thus gaining a feeling of pride and smug superiority. Hey, are you done with that question yet? No? Okay...let's move on. So, there I was, skiing down Mount Everest (raising money for the Gap-Toothed Ocelot Fund), when all of a sudden I....hey! Wait! Where are you going?
